EPISCOPAL YOUTH CHRISTIANS (EYC)

	EYC at the Cathedral exists to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of our middle and high school youth. Our hope for all our young people is to grow their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learn to live their life for Him. Our desire is to help them mature in their faith and to make choices about their future.

Our group is a safe and welcoming place for teens to come and explore their faith. Our meetings are designed to have something for everyone, from a delicious dinner to the games we play, or songs we sing. During the summer months, our main focus is on service and building a strong community of young people. There are 8 EYC leaders in addition to full time Canon for Youth Ministry; Anne Taylor. Every adult leader has had a background screening and taken a three hour course on Safeguarding God's Children. Every youth meeting, event, trip or service/mission trip is fully chaperoned with our trained staff at a ratio of 8 youth to 1 adult.
