GOD IS LOVE. 

He loves you and He wants you to love Him. 

 

But….

All people do not love God.

 

WHY?

Because of… sin.

 

WHAT IS SIN?

Disobeying God; Breaking God’s Law; The act of not doing what God wants

The Bible says, “To one who knows the right thing to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin.”  James 4:17

 

WHO HAS SINNED?

 

E V E R Y O N E!!

The Bible says, “For all have sinned…”  Romans 3:23

 

WHAT DOES SIN DO?

Sin makes you unhappy and most importantly sin separates you from God.

 

WHAT IS GOD’S ANSWER FOR YOUR SIN?

 

J E S U S!!

 

WHO IS JESUS?

Jesus is God’s only son!  He lived a perfect and sinless life!

Jesus died on a cross to pay the penalty for your sin and came alive again in a wonderful way!

Jesus lives!  He listens to your prayers and is preparing a place for you in heaven!

Jesus is the only way to know God and spend eternity (that’s forever!) in heaven with Him!

 

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.’”  John 14:6

 

  

HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN:

 

1.  Admit that you are a sinner.

Every person has sinned and sin separates us from God.

The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ.” Romans 6:23

 

2.  Repent of your sin and turn to God in faith.

Repentance is to be sorry for having sinned and to promise to not do it again.

Faith is belief and trust in God.

The Bible says, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out…” Acts 3:19

 

3.  Believe in Jesus.  Believe He is the Son of God.  Trust Him to save you from your sins and take control of your life.

Recognize that God loves you and Jesus died for your sin.

The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

 

4.  Receive Jesus into your life.

Ask Him through prayer to come into your life to be your Lord and Savior.

The Bible says, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

 

WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRAY THIS PRAYER NOW?

“Dear God, I know I am a sinner.  Please forgive me.  I believe Jesus died for my sins.  I want Jesus to come into my life and be my savior.  I want to follow Him and obey Him.  I want Him to be the Lord of my life.  Amen.”

 

IF YOU JUST PRAYED THIS PRAYER:

Jesus came into your life.

Your sins are forgiven.

You are a child of God.

You have an eternal home in heaven.

You are a Christian.

 

And Now That You Are A Christian…

You will want to tell others what just happened in your life, i.e. profess your faith!

The Bible says, “Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.” Matthew 10:32
